Mr. Myers is Instructor of Environmental Studies
and Coordinator of the Wilderness Education and
Outdoor Pursuits sessions offered at the New Jersey
School of Conservation. His training and experience
in natural history, outdoor education, and
recreation provide a unique perspective for
providing outdoor skill training, which emphasizes
protection as well as enjoyment of our natural
recourses. His diverse adventures have taken him
backpacking in Idaho, canoeing in Canada, rock
climbing in Yosemite, ski camping in the Grand
Tetons, and caving in West Virginia, to name a few.
He maintains involvement with the Wilderness
Education Association, the American Canoe
Association, and he is a licensed New York State
guide. At the New Jersey School of Conservation, he
is responsible for promoting an appreciation of our
natural heritage through outdoor recreation and
adventure activities.
