Passaic River Symposium V:
"Today’s Status, Tomorrow’s Perspective"

The fifth Passaic River Symposium will be a day-long event featuring the Lower Passaic River Restoration Project. The symposium will include invited keynote speakers and plenary sessions/presentations on all aspects of environmental management challenges relevant to the Passaic River Basin. This conference year will focus on sediment remediation as part of the Lower Passaic Interim Remedial Measure, the release of the Focused Feasibility Study, ecosystem restoration and environmental advocacy and public outreach efforts. Projects in the upper river and tributary watersheds will also play a prominent role in this conference.

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts are sought for platform (oral) presentations and posters on any environmental issue relevant to the Passaic River Basin and nearby watershed environments. . Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on their technical and policy merit and relevance to the Passaic River Basin. Platform presentation length will be 15 minutes, including questions. A book of abstracts will be distributed at the conference and placed on the conference website following the conference. All symposium presenters are required to register for the conference.

Fees:

Payment by credit card, check, or purchase order only. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by October 10th. On-line registrations will be accepted until October 17th, as long as space is available.

Registration $115
Student Registration $40

Fees include continental breakfast, lunch and book of symposium abstracts.
