
The following courses are offered in the Red Hawk Mathematics Center:
This course provides students with review of elementary algebra, including fundamental algebraic processes, linear and quadratic equations, graphing, word problems and applications. Credit is not usable toward graduation. This course is offered as Pass/No Credit only and meets the Basic Skills Math Requirement.
This course provides students with a strong grounding in intermediate algebra. Topics include linear equations and inequalities, graphs and functions, systems of equations and inequalities, polynomials and factoring, rational equations and functions, radicals, quadratic equations and functions, the conics sections, and applications. Prerequisite: Appropriate placement test score or grade of P in Elementary Algebra.
