Check out the pictures for your birthday in one of the years from 1995 to 2004. Choose your favorite one, then print the page to bring to class. Read the information about the picture and be prepared to tell your classmates about it. You might want to follow some of the links provided.

Turn in this assignment sheet with your favorite site clearly marked, and with the one-page printout stapled to it.

Purpose: To allow each student to explore a different section of the astronomy resources on the Internet. We will share our information in groups, and then present the best pictures to the class. Teamwork, evaluation, critical thinking, and public speaking skills are emphasized in this class session.
